BIO

Starting off on the central Jersey Shore, Michael (aka Miker) found himself graduating from the Art Institute of Philadelphia with an Associate Degree for Industrial Design. Michael was recognized with "Best Presentation" in his graduating class, and now his portfolio is even being used by the school for promotional purposes.

While still in school Michael began freelancing & in doing so, he has designed and created characters for Six Flag's Frightfest, sets for a Richard Bey show pilot as well as digital imagery and toy prototypes for well known musicians. When not freelancing, Michael releases his own independent works online, and in self-published form. Two of Michael's film projects have been endorsed by Elvira, Mistress of the Dark as "A must see!". His second film Hypnothriller recently debuted with 2 new horror stage acts in a show entitled "A Night Of Terror 2". It featured an evil cast of puppets that tormented the audience with strange nightmare tales. His first film Susie and the Zombie can now be seen on youtube.com. Look for Michael as the comic store geek!

Currently Michael is entertainer at Franklin Square Park (6th & Race in Philadelphia). He also portrays the colonial gravedigger of the historic Christ Church Burial ground, and is MC for 1776 the Movie Musical for Historic Philadelphia, Inc. October is Michael's busiest month. Between freelance FX makeup jobs, he also helps pull together Spooky Mini-Golf, and creates costumes and characters for other local attractions.

A Few Words

"I've always had a fascination with creating things that entertain people. At one time in my childhood my goal was to be a magician, another was to be a puppeteer. I guess at some point in high school I realized that all the things I have always done could be combined. I actually, find myself thinking about the combination quite a lot. I suppose that's what led me to get a degree for Industrial Design Technology. It promised everything from film Special FX, to designing products and environments.

This site, has really become quite a project in itself. I use it to promote myself, and the movies I make. It's also a place where I can publish things I make that would otherwise go unseen. I hope you enjoy it.
