"Lovers of camp hold on to your soul… it doesn't get much campier
than this!"
From the mind of The MH Studio's Michael Heyniger comes a night
of terror, death... and laughter! Created to premiere his latest
creation, a short film entitled "Susie & the Zombie". It is a night
of the campiest original scenarios possible brought to life both
onstage, and on screen. The evening is held together by a deeply
baritone "ghoul" host who keeps the events creepy as well as humorous.
The night begins with 2 skits bringing camp live, and on stage!
The Fortuneteller - Approx. 10 minutes
Puppetry has never been so evil... err… insightful!
The Dismemberer - Approx. 15 minutes
Watch as a very special guest from "a New Dimension" delivers a
heart stopping performance with the evening's scream queen!
- Then it's on to the feature presentation -
Susie and the Zombie Running time: Approx. 50 minutes
"A MUST see!" says Elvira, 'Mistress of the Dark' regarding this
camp horror story. Follow a young girl named Susie as she searches
for love... in all the wrong places. Namely, a cemetery! After an
episode at her senior prom, her macho boyfriend Rick thinks it might
be a good idea to get some liquor and head to the nearby cemetery.
Little did he know the fate that was in store for him.
After "saving her life", Susie meets a new man. Mistaking the word
"brain" for "Blane" she decides to take her new friend home so he
can get "cleaned up". What follows is a series of hilariously camp
events involving a musical shopping mall interlude, a comic store,
and some confused parents - not to mention "friends".
With a strange underlying meaning, the story sets out to "prove"
just how blind love really is and how dangerous it can be. Aiming
for an 80's horror movie feel, this isn't just a low budget movie;
it's a "No-Budget" feature… and one HELL of a heart breaking
adventure!
