The Making of the Goblin Man Puppet
Sculpted head and hands using oil based clay
Sculpted body from ablock of foam and created joints (later to be reinforced with washers). Limbs also reinforced with a plastic skeleton.
Created plaster molds of clay sculpted head and hand.
Poured colored latex into molds, coating the inside and pouring
excess out and letting it dry about 5 times.
You may also notice a clear hot glue that has dried around eye sockets - this
is to create support for eye sockets.
Eye mechanism made from metal, glue and hinges allow eyes to move in any direction in sync.
And with a few finishing touches - he is complete. The best part? I can make more!
